Workshop–Hands On: Nature Stamps and Texture Prints

Slow down and discover the hidden patterns all around you. During a campus texture walk, participants will collect prints from bark, leaves, stone, and other natural surfaces using kneaded eraser stamps, rubbings, and simple printmaking techniques. Option to collage prints after the walk. No prior experience is necessary, and everyone will leave with a series of original prints celebrating the beauty of close observation.

Eva Lin Fahey

Eva Lin Fahey 张雯林 is a visual artist based in Holyoke, Massachusetts, and an MFA candidate at Clark University. Through painting and installation, she creates speculative mythologies that weave together cosmology, constellation, and imagined landscapes to explore displacement, memory, and belonging. Fahey is interested in translation as both a linguistic and material act. Her work traverses cultural and temporal gaps, constructing spaces inhabited by past, present, and future ghosts. Fahey received a BFA in Studio Arts from UMass. She is a 2025 Massachusetts Fellow at The Studios at MASS MoCA, and a recipient of the 2025 Project Evolution Grant through Assets for Artists. Her work has been featured in AGNI’s Afterlives: An AGNI Portfolio of Asian Adoptee Diaspora Writing.
