Tate Klacsmann's print "Rat and Can"

Artistic Journey presents acclaimed and emerging printmakers associated with the Florence, Massachusetts-based Zea Mays Printmaking. The exhibition celebrates the studio’s twenty-five-year legacy of workshops, education, research, and artist residencies committed to safer printmaking and artistic growth. The exhibiting artists make sense of the world through unique creative expression, utilizing innovative and experimental printing methods. The work is loosely organized into eight categories reflecting the varied ways artists see and know the world: language, sense perception, emotion, reason, imagination, intuition, memory, and belief. The artists draw on subjective experiences and observations to explore these profound dimensions of human understanding. Artistic Journey invites visitors to engage with art that illuminates the multiple, imperfect, and often contradictory ways of knowing, prompting consideration of how these explorations reflect on the past, imagine the future, and shape our awareness of the present.

Featured artists include: Angela Zammarelli, Anne Beresford, Annie Silverman, Annie Bissett, Carolyn Webb, Catherine Aiello, Diane Worth, Erika Radich, Frank Ozereko, Haley Kean, Anita Hunt, Jennifer Gover, Joyce Silverstone, Julie Lapping Rivera, Liz Chalfin, Louise Wallendorf, Lynn Peterfreund, Maya Malachowski Bajak, Meredith Broberg, Nancy Diessner, Rebecca Muller, Richard Turnbull, Sally Clegg, Sarah Creighton, Tate Klacsmann, Tekla McInerney, and Vaune Trachtman.
