Resources for Funding Your Field Trip

The Massachusetts Cultural Council offers funding for field trips and transportation through grants from each town’s local cultural council. The deadline to apply is typically September or October for experiences beginning the following year. Applicants will receive an email letting them know the status of their application once the council makes their decision. Most councils will make their decision by early January.

Parent teacher organizations can help fund field trips by organizing fundraising events and activities, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to participate in enriching educational experiences outside the classroom. Contact your PTO to inquire about available funding opportunities.
